Sprouts are rich with vitamins, minerals, proteins, and enzymes.  Have you ever heard of a vegetable that continues to gain vitamins after it is harvested?  Sprouts are LIVING foods and after you harvest your sprouts and refrigerate them, they will continue to grow slowly and their vitamin content will actually increase.

Why eat sprouts?  In addition to providing the highest amount of vitamins, minerals, proteins and enzymes of any food per unit of calorie, the nutrients from the sprouts are easily digested and assimilated into the body.  In fact, sprouts can help to improve the efficiency of digestion.  Sprouts are also fresh and colorful, and add delicious tastes and textures for salads, sandwiches, soups, etc.
