When I started having CranioSacral Therapy I was having migraine headaches on a weekly basis. I had actually been having them off and on for about 40 years. I had been to doctor’s, and chiropractor’s and eye doctor’s for a long time and I would get temporary relief but they always came back. I learned about CranioSacral Therapy when I was about 38 years old so I began to have regular treatments. I didn’t know what to expect but I just plowed in hoping for the best.
After a few months my headaches began to subside. Within a year I noticed that I would have the regular symptoms of a migraine onset which were blindspots in my eyes and my face would start to tingle, but I had NO pain. It has been over 10 years now with NO migraine. When I am under stress I will sometimes still get the blindspots in my eyes but if I stop what I am doing and rest, it never developes beyond that.
